Adult Misdemeanor Probation Officer (DUI) - Employment Opportunity
Cheatham County is accepting applications for this positon. The Adult Misdemeanor Probation Officer is responsible for supervising individuals who have been convicted of misdemeanor offenses and placed on probation by the court. The officer ensures that offenders comply with the terms and conditions set forth by the court and helps them reintegrate into society as law-abiding citizens. This role involves regular meetings with probationers, preparing reports, and providing guidance on resources such as rehabilitation programs, community service, and counseling. The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office is accepting bids for vehicle maintenance services. Bids must be sealed and marked SEALED BID - CCSO VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SERVICES, and received in the Accounting Office at 354 Frey Street, Suite E, Ashland City, TN 37015 by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 for bid opening.
