Highway Department Bid
The Cheatham County Highway Department is accepting bids for ASPHALT IN PLACE. Minimum bid specifications are available by calling the Cheatham County Accounting Office at (615) 792-2037. Bids must be sealed and marked BID ENCLOSED - ASPHALT IN PLACE. Bids must be received in the Accounting Office at 354 Frey St, Suite E, Ashland City, TN 37015 by Wednesday, April 30, 2025 by 2:00 pm for bid opening. Cheatham County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.

Sheriff's Department Bid
The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department is accepting bids for the purchase of Records Management Software (RMS) / Jail Management Software (JMS). Bid specifications may be picked up in the Accounting Office at 354 Frey Street, Suite E, Ashland City, TN 37015 or by calling (615) 792-2037. Bids must be sealed and marked RMS/JMS SOFTWARE BID ENCLOSED, and received in the Accounting Office by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 for bid opening. The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office is accepting bids for a food service provider in the Cheatham County Jail in Ashland City. Bids must be sealed and marked BID ENCLOSED CHEATHAM COUNTY JAIL FOOD SERVICE, and received in the Accounting Office at 354 Frey Street, Suite E, Ashland City, TN 37015 by 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 for bid opening. Bid specifications may be picked up in the Accounting Office or by calling (615) 792-2037. Cheatham County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.

Maintenance Department Bid
The Cheatham County Maintenance Department is accepting bids for a New Maintenance Building.
Plans and Specifications may be obtained by emailing josh@jawarc.com. Please submit sealed bids to Kerry McCarver Mayor, Cheatham County Government, 350 Frey Street, Ashland City, Tennessee 37015. Bid proposal should include bidder’s name, contact information, and bid amount. Sealed bids must be clearly marked “A New Cheatham County Maintenance Building” in the bottom right corner. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will take place on April 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Jail Alley, Ashland City, Tennessee 37015. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., May 14, 2025 at which time they will be opened and publicly read.

Household Hazardous Waste Day
The Solid Waste department will be hosting a household hazardous waste day. The event will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Sycamore Square, located at 350 Frey Street Ashland City Tn 37015. This is a free event sponsored by Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Paint will not be accepted at this event. Oil base paint is accepted daily at our Sam’s Creek Road facility. This will serve notice that the Cheatham County Beer Board will meet when called on the second Saturday of each month in 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sycamore Square Complex, David McCullough Meeting Room at 334 Frey Street, Ashland City, Tennessee.
