September 8, 2026 - Special Called Legislative Body Meeting
The Cheatham County Legislative Body will hold a special called meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the General Sessions Courtroom. The purpose of this meeting will be to elect a Chair and Pro Tempore and approve the appointment of the Director of Accounts and Budgets.

The Cheatham County Commission will meet on September 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the General Sessions Courtroom in Ashland City, TN. The following item will be heard:
Agenda Items to be heard:
- Desmond Brookins requesting a zone change from Agriculture to R-1 for Map 41, Parcel 40.02. Property is located at 1065 Cagle Rd., in the 2nd Voting District and is not in a Special Flood Hazard Ares.
- James Gupton Jr., and Michael Robert Gupton requesting a zone change from Agriculture to R-1 for a 2.01-acre portion of Map 14, Parcel 14. Property is located on Hinton Rd., in the 4th Voting district and is not in a Special Flood Hazard Area.

The Cheatham County Solid Waste department will be hosting a household hazardous waste day. The event will be held on Saturday October 10, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Sycamore Square located 350 Frey Street Ashland City, TN 37015. This is a free event sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

Beer Board Meetings
This will serve notice that the Cheatham County Beer Board will meet when called on the second Saturday of each month in 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sycamore Square Complex, David McCullough Meeting Room at 334 Frey Street, Ashland City, Tennessee. These services include but are not limited to WIC (over the phone), high-risk primary care services, and immunizations for children and high-risk populations.
